F&N & Eurokars EV LUCKY DRAW PROMOTION 2023

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. This Promotion starts on 01 June 2023 and ends on 31 August 2023 (“Promotion Period”).
  2. Any entries with purchases made outside of the Promotion Period shall be automatically disqualified from participation.
  3. Promotion is valid on participating F&N brands:
    • 100PLUS

  4. This promotion is valid for purchases made at Ace, Amazon Fresh, Caltex, Cheers, CK Department Store, Cold Storage, FairPrice, FairPrice Finest, FPOnline, FairPrice Xtra, FairPrice Xpress, Foodpanda (PandaMart), Fortune, F&N Life, Giant Express, Giant Hypermarket, Giant Supermarket, Guardian, Hao Mart, Li Li Cheng Supermarket, Meidi-ya Supermarket, Mustafa, New E-Con, Nice Minimart, One Supermarket, Prime, Redmart, Shell, Sheng Siong, Shopee Supermarket, Sinopec, SPC,  Isetan, U Mart, U Stars Supermarket and 7-Eleven, from 1st June to 31st August 2023.
  5. Total of 101 winners will be selected randomly. No exchange or transfer of prizes will be allowed.
    • 1 grand winner will receive a fully electric MG4 EV worth $82,888 (COE not included).
    • Consolation prize: 100 winners will receive a Frasers Experience (FRx) Gift Card worth $140.
    • The Organiser accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize. It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner accepts all conditions of use of the prize. 
    • The Grand Prize MG4 EV can be claimed directly from F&N FOODS PTE LTD’S car partner - EUROKARS EV PTE LTD. (UEN: 201928952Z) hereinafter referred to as “Eurokars EV”
    • Eurokars EV has the right to decide the colour of prize cars which may differ from the colour of cars featured in the marketing materials of this promotion.
    • The car pictures featured are for illustration purposes only and specification may vary.
    • The Prize Car shall not be exchangeable for cash or any other item or assignable by Winner to any other party;
    • The Prize Car excludes:
      • Certificate of Entitlement (COE)
      • Vehicle Emissions Scheme (VES) surcharge, if applicable
      • Servicing Program
      • Motor Vehicle Insurance
      • Road Tax
      • IU Installation
      • Number Plates
      • Goods and Services Tax (GST)
      • Registration fee
      • Any additional fittings, fixtures and accessories other than those provided by Eurokars EV in its sole discretion
      • Other incidentals, etc;
    • The Winner shall not be entitled to trade-in or sell the Prize Car for the purchase of another vehicle from Eurokars EV or its related corporations;
    • The colour of the Prize Car shall be determined by Eurokars EV at its sole discretion, subject to stock availability;
    • The Winner shall fulfill all requirements in relation to the registration of the Prize Car prior to claiming and taking delivery of the Prize Car, including but not limited to:
      • procuring the requisite COE for ownership of the Prize Car and registration of the Prize Car through Eurokars EV;
      • procuring valid motor vehicle insurance for the Prize Car from Eurokars EV’s insurance partners through Eurokars EV; and
      • making payment for the excluded items listed earlier at Eurokars EV’s prevailing rates, as well as Goods and Services Tax (“GST”) payable thereon;
    • Eurokars EV will assist to obtain COE on behalf of the Winner subject to the following:
      • the Winner may either request Eurokars EV to bid for the COE on his or her behalf or obtain an open category COE from Eurokars EV;
      • any request for Eurokars EV to bid for the COE on the behalf of the Winner shall be according to Eurokars EV’s prevailing terms and conditions for providing such service, including but not limited to the payment of the COE bidding deposit of SGD $10,000 (or such amount as may be applicable at the relevant time), including applicable GST, by the Winner at the time of the request; and
      • any open category COE obtained from Eurokars EV shall be at such price and on such terms and conditions as Eurokars EV may determine at the relevant time;
    • The Winner shall also pay Eurokars EV an administrative fee of SGD 4,500 or such other prevailing amount prescribed by Eurokars EV for the COE bidding and registration of the Prize Car on behalf of the Winner;
    • The Winner shall register the Prize Car through Eurokars EV and take delivery of the Prize Car within a period of two (2) months from the date of announcement of the result of the Lucky Draw (“Claim Date”), failing which Eurokars EV shall be entitled to charge the Winner reasonable fees for the storage of the Prize Car on a daily basis commencing from the Claim Date at such rate(s) as Eurokars EV shall determine at its sole discretion;
    • In the event the Winner fails to take delivery of the Prize Car for any reason within three (3) months from the date the Winner is determined, the Prize Car shall be forfeited without compensation to the Winner and without further reference or notice to the Winner;
    • The Winner shall not hold Eurokars EV, its related corporations and/or their respective officers, employees or directors (“Eurokars EV”) responsible or liable for, or look to Eurokars EV for any losses, claims or liabilities arising from: (i) forfeiture of the Prize Car; or (ii) the conduct of the Lucky Draw;
    • All payments payable by the Winner to Eurokars EV arising from or in connection with the Prize Car shall be made in full before collection of the Prize Car;
    • Eurokars EV shall be under no obligation whatsoever to register the Prize Car in the name of any person other than the Prize Winner as notified in writing by F&N to Eurokars EV;
    • The Prize Car is non-transferable and non-negotiable;
    • For verification purpose, the Winner shall be required to present in person the original notification letter from F&N and his or her NRIC to Eurokars EV on the scheduled appointment date and location as determined by Eurokars EV when claiming the Prize Car;
    • By participating in the Lucky Draw and/or claiming the Prize Car, the Winner gives consent to F&N and Eurokars EV and their respective related corporations, business partners and agents to collect, use and disclose his or her name and personal data and particulars, including but not limited to, personal identification information, contact details and photographs (for identification purposes) in connection with the Lucky Draw and/or registration and delivery of the Prize Car to Winner;
    • The Winner additionally agrees to the collection, use and disclosure of his or her name, personal data and particulars, photograph and voice by F&N and Eurokars EV or their related corporations, business partners and agents in newspapers, radio, social media and other medium as may be determined by F&N and/or Eurokars EV, and to be photographed, filmed and/or interviewed. The Winner agrees to co-operate with and participate in the activities organized by Eurokars EV for publicity, sales and marketing and promotional purposes without any compensation;
    • By participating in the Lucky Draw, each participant consents to the collection, use or disclosure of his or her personal data and particulars by F&N and Eurokars EV and their respective agents, business and marketing partners and authorised service providers for the purposes of (a) sending marketing and promotional materials relating to F&N and/or Eurokars EV’s products and services, benefits, promotions and rewards to the participant, and (b) conducting market research and statistical analysis.
  6. The prize(s) must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services.
  7. If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Organiser, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
  8. Promotion mechanics: Purchase $5 worth of participating F&N products on a single receipt to qualify. Entries must be submitted on www.140anniversarypromotion.fnnfoods.com/.
  9. Only receipts dated from 1st June 2023 to 31st August 2023 will be accepted.
  10. Valid receipts need to contain the following details:
    • Retailer Name / Outlet Address
    • Receipt number / Transaction number
    • Clear description of participating F&N products purchased
    • Amount spent
    • Date of purchase
  11. All entries must be received before the closing date of 4th September 2023. All entries, regardless of the date of purchase submitted after closing will be deemed invalid and do not qualify for the promotion.
  12. The receipt containing the purchase of participating product(s) must be presented upon collection of prizes.
  13. Only one winner is allowed per household.
  14. Winning entries are subjected to validation of purchase with the participating retailer(s).
  15. The draw will be conducted on 15th September 2023, 3pm at F&N FOODS PTE LTD Office (2 Tuas Link 3, Singapore 639468), the organiser’s decisions are final on all matters relating to this promotion. No further correspondence or appeals to the organiser will be entertained.
  16. Winners will be notified via the phone.
  17. Winners will be announced on https://www.fnnfoods.com/whatson/ on 26th September 2023.
  18. This promotion is open to all living in Singapore, except employees of F&N FOODS PTE LTD, F&N INTERFLAVINE PTE LTD, F&N CREMERIES PTE LTD & Eurokars EV Pte. Ltd., promotion retailers and partners, appointed advertising agencies for this promotion, affiliates and their immediate family members.
  19. The organiser reserves the right to verify the validity of qualified orders. Failure or delay by the organiser to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. Cancelled orders will be disqualified.
  20. All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash or for any other prizes. Neither organiser nor its affiliates or subsidiaries will be responsible for any loss, liability or damages arising out of the winner’s acceptance or use of the prize.
  21. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within 7 days of first attempt, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected.
  22. Prize may not be redeemed by any person other than the prize winner unless with prior arrangement with the organiser. Any prize(s) won and not claimed by a stated date will be forfeited.
  23. All prizes which remain unclaimed within two (2) months from the announcement of winners, for any reason whatsoever, may be donated to a charity chosen at the sole discretion of F&N and no resulting claims whatsoever (whether for prize, payment or compensation) shall be entertained.
  24. The organiser reserves the right to request winner(s) to provide proof of identity and proof of residency to claim the prize.
  25. The organiser reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions for this lucky draw promotion or replace the prizes with another of similar value at any time of its absolute discretion, without notice or liability to another person.
  26. By participating in this contest, you agree for F&N FOODS PTE LTD to collect your data for the purpose of administering this contest in accordance with the PDPA. You understand and accept without condition, F&N FOODS PTE LTD may use details provided in this form for marketing purposes in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
  27. By participating this contest, participants acknowledge that they have read and understood F&N’ Data Protection Policy (as published in F&N FOODS PTE LTD’s website) and Eurokars EV’s Data Protection Policy (as published in Eurokars Group’s website), and consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal data by F&N and Eurokars EV for the purposes set out in these Terms.   28. This contest is organised and conducted in compliance to Gambling Regulatory Authority (“GRA”)  under Class licensee: Trade Promotion Games of Chance and Lotteries.
